America's biggest export...jobs.
Sorry that I have not been blogging for some time now. I've been really busy looking for work. So far I haven't made a dime with this Blog thing and need to find some way of supporting myself. Being an ex-techie in a job market that is flooded with qualified applicants doesn't help much either, not to mention that even the lower level help desk and support jobs have taken flight to far off places like India.
Even the American companies like K.B.R. and Halliburton aren't hiring Americans. Most of the jobs they have seem to go to foreign workers who are willing to put their life on the line for a couple bucks a day. It's sickening that they've got these billion dollar (no bid) contracts and instead of hiring Americans they opt for workers from third world countries just so their profits are greater. Oh well, I guess that's just how the country crumbles.
